MOMENTUM - MOST DISHONEST AND *********** COMPANY OF THE CENTURY! Save your money - you might just lose everything with Momentum!

After changing my banking details, my premium to my life policy that I have been contributing HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of RANDS over the last 10 years. As part of my employer's Group scheme, I was not required to undergo a medical and was also ensured that I could continue the policy even if resigning from the company. I then consolidated all my cover in this one Momentum policy. After my retrenchment I wanted to continue as promised only to be shocked in finding that a lot of my benefits no longer were available, and my premium increased considerable - I lost the "Group Benefits". I had to make some compromises. After refilling in their forms and sending it to apparently *********** and/or dishonest agents of Momentum, they eventually informed me that it was in order but that my policy lapsed. Not once did any of their staff though (maybe that's asking way too much!?) to call me and warn me. I could have easily had just EFT'd the premium, but they tagged me along in their forms that they kept returning to me. Now I have NO cover whatsoever and they keep ignoring me and only offer to renew the policy after a medical. I do not believe that it should be a problem, but I am 10 years older, and it is a matter of principle. UPON REFLECTING AND READING ABOUT THEIR REPUTATION MY POLICY PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PAID OUT IF SOMETHING DID HAPPEN TO ME, AS THEY WOULD TRY TO FIND SOMEBS EXCUSE!

Thank you. I have just read your Mr Jaco Botha's e-mail reply to me and his assurance to me that the matter would be correct as I was not at fault. Thank you Mr Botha and the staff of 4D Employee Benefits.

Please treat this as a matter of urgency as I have no life cover ... probably since 1 December.
