Momentum Life apparently bankrupt!!
Pathetic. Momentum life must be bankrupt. Trying to withdraw a pension benefit. Not even R200k. Paper work goal posts keep on moving, by the hour. Only explanation is they are bankrupt and does not have the money to pay out. My advice, withdraw all investments before you loose it all

Momentum as with other Financial institutions will only pay the proceeds into a third party account in extreme circumstances and this is to protect our members. Our legal department have requested various documents from yourself and we will only consider your request on receipt of these documents.

And that only after I had to phone and enquire. No communication directly from momentum.
The people I spoke to does not know what is going on.
Stop hiding behind security and acknowledge that you do not have the money to pay out.
Why else would the required documents change continuously?
To buy time.
