Momentum is the worst to deal with
Momentum is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with, first of I was retrenched in July then had to be on the company books till 15th of August I was then informed that the company was liquidated just days after the 15th. In September I called momentum and explained them that I need my money as I'm now unemployed and doesn't have any other source of income I submitted my claim forms for my money to be paid out made countless calls to them instead of helping you can hear they get frustrated I send in proof that I was not part of the liquidation but was retrenched yet no direct answers I called again and again I was finally told that I would wait 26 working days for my money's and was so happy I then got in contact with one other person who was also retrenched with me and she said that she was told that because of her age they will tax her but I was told because I was retrenched I will not be taxed I then decided to call again and called again and then I get told oh your paperwork was send to the legal department and it will take up to 3 to 13 months after I send emails upon email explaining I wasn't part of the liquidation I was retrenched and send proof.... What puzzled me more is the fact that every month since I started my application my money is a little less.. Momentum is a real pain to deal with as people are losing houses, cars and so much more we are now basically out on the streets because they can't see the fact that we are in dire need of that money this is my cry for help if there is anyone out there who know how to deal with this situation so that you can get your money we have kids to feed its not our fault that we weren't taken off the books why should we suffer as we were retrenched
