Momentum investments terrible

Momentum investments are really pathetic. Every few years I get called to change my retirement annuity investments because the funds that I have invested in are apparently not available for me to invest again? Why recommend I invest in funds when in a few years time I will have to change all my investments again since the funds I invested in are no longer available to me. Why charge me a fee to manage my investments and then constantly come back to me and say that the funds that I selected (after they recommended the funds and charge me for the service) are not available to me.
