Misleaded and declined my claim

I am mpho Rametse ID number ***.... in February 2020 I was diagnosed with glaucoma which falls under fread disease....so my CRF LOCAL GOVERNMENT pension fund which is underwritinn by MOMENTUM has the benefit of dread diseases so had problem with my eyes where I thought it's a simple thing maybe I needed specs till February this year when I was diagnosed then I went for operation so as I was gathering all the information thn March it was lockdown did not work til level 1...now when I'm doing follow up and submitting they telling me about it has expired tried to explain that was out of work it was lockdown and all the information is communicated via work emails then they proceed with the claim and 10 days later came back declined their reasoning is my medical condition doesn't qualify me and the fact that the claim is period has expired....

My thing is this momentum never wrote me any letter since I've joined to explain terms and conditio and the time frame for claiming

2. They never called me to test me thy just decided that my medical condition doesn't qualify me they never did any visual test.

3. The is not even a letter or anything that says we pay when the medical condition is like this they just decline
