Mickey Mouse service at Momentum Thacsa
Thacsa Momentum tops my list for the worst customer service. I put in a claim on the 01 February 2020, requesting release of the provident fund. We are now in 12 June 2020 and nothing paid through yet.
On Monday, the 03 February 2020, I called to find out the status of my application, I get told my application is incomplete. I complete and resend the documents the very next day. A week later no contact is made. On the 12 February 2020, I get and email saying that my application is still incomplete.
What makes me sick and very disappointed is that no-one from the Momentum Thacsa ever actually call to inform that we are processing you claim however your application is incomplete. I have to spend airtime and I have called several times about my claim. In the past 4 months there has not been an occasion where Thacsa has called me telephonically. I am the fool running around for my money.
Everytime I call, I get a different issue, bank verification, tax directive which I take action upon immediately either by going to the bank or SARS. I call on Wednesday 03 June 2020, I get told my claim will be paid within 5 - 7 business days. On the 12 June 2020 I make a follow up call and get told my claim needs to go to SARS for a tax directive. What mickey mouse business is this?
I have lost trust in this company because response time is poor, quality of service is poor, and I have been given the run around plus its 4 months since I put in my claim. Momentum Thacsa is certainly not a recommendable retirement service.
