LOSS OF INCOME DUE TO HEALTH

I became sick last year and was forced to resign as my health was deteriorating. I constantly had headaches, tired and feeling dizzy. I went to a few doctors before they diagnosed me with high blood pressure and insulin resistance. I lodged a claim with Momentum Income Protector, which I was paying for the last 5 years. Momentum advised me that they were unable to payout my claim as the diagnosis they received from the doctors were incomplete. I was paying Life policies, Income proctor and RA for the last years to the value of over R3000.00 per month. I was unable to work for 3 months and Momentum turned their back on me when I needed them the most. It would have been better to save the money instead of paying this to momentum. Momentum put me in financial difficulty, they really don't care. I just feel that it is unfair to avoid paying out due to doctors not doing their work properly. It is not my responsibility to make sure the doctors keep proper records. I am now unable to afford medical aid and still need to see a doctor. I also blame them for affecting my future. If I have saved all the premiums in the bank I would have been okay.
