*********** Momentum - always eager to take your money - not so eager when having to pay out

CALLS ARE JUST CUT-OFF

BEEN TOLD THAT SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK - NO ONE HAS RETURNED ANY CALLS

KEPT ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES AT A TIME (and then calls are dropped or been transferred to the incorrect department)

Below is a brief explanation of the appaling experience I have had with Momentum. I would NEVER recommend anyone to make use of Momentum for life insurance or investing funds.

Always interesting how companies are eager to take money but always lack the same diligence when having to pay out funds.

1. Submitted forms to have pension fund paid, after resigning from employers

2. After FIVE working days, Momentum contacted my employer stating that the forms were not correct and that OTHER forms had to be submitted (Just a comment - we were 2 employees who resigned - my forms were rejected but the other employee's forms were accepted - same company, same resignation date, no different whatsoever)

3. I contacted Momentum after RE-SUBMITTING the forms and was given confirmation that all is in order and that the claim would be finalised within 10 - 15 working days

4. On day 10 I contacted Momentum to request a status update and was informed that the claim is being finalised and there is nothing outstanding, the funds would be paid into my account the following week

5. From day 10 - 15 (today) I have contacted Momentum on various occassions (which does cost money as well) and been given the run around regarding the status of the claim.

6. I eventually spoke to the person dealing with the claim and was informed that the funds must now be dis-invested (2 - 3 working days), thereafter a tax directive requested, then account verification and then release of funds.

7. I was told that the funds were being liquidated as the company moved to a different fund but this was done AFTER my claim submission and actually has NOTHING to do with my claim but apparently this is the reason why nothing has been done to the claim???

Why was NOTHING done to the claim within 15 working days of re-submission of forms?

NO feedback

NO return of calls

NO RESOLUTION - "you just have to wait as everything is sytem generated"

I appreciate you raising your concerns with us. They are indeed very disappointing and we certainly letting you down. We will investigate and I can assure you that a manager will contact you.

Thank you for the prompt feedback. It is disappointing to have to place a complaint on Hello Peter and Facebook to receive feedback.
I have been assured that someone will contact me, on various occasions, and no one ever did.
I received a call but the lady informed me that she, unfortunately, doesn't have access to the specific computer for FundsAtWork. I was informed that someone in the correct department would be in contact with me - this has not occured yet.
