Grow your savings with HealthSaver and other queries

Grow your HealthSaver savings with Momentum Health We are having trouble getting the necessary Multiply Points on my wife's profile.

We have a joint HealthSaver account. Every month our Health Returns gets paid over to our HealthSaver so it grows more than R250 per month. We don't get points for it.

According to your brochure a deposit of R250 must be done and the balance must be kept at a certain level to get points. To answer my own question above, I guess the HealthReturns that gets deposited each month doesn't count for points.

1. Now I would like to know, how do we contribute/deposito into a joint HealthSaver account and that my wife can get the points as my profile don't have any more categories in reason to get points for except buying more products from Momentum.

Please advise how this should be done.

2. Furthermore, we were given no choice (we had to sign the mandate) earlier this year when Momentum/Multiply decided that the funds in the Multiply Money account must be shifted to another bank account/fund. Now I see that the fund administration fees is around 1% of the balance whereas the previous banking costs were much lower (the interest rate looks higher on paper, but in the past year prime rate increased a lot, but the new fund administration fee is significantly higher than before). When the mandate in question was presented, I questioned the agents and NOT ONE OF THEM said that the fund administration fees would increase. I asked all of the them why this mandate and why must we changed bank/fund accounts and everybody just claimed the interest rate is higher...

3. Last thing, I would like to know how and when can I withdraw funds from my Multiply Money account to my bank account. I do understand from the FAQ's that this isn't possible as yet, but I would rather save/invest this money into one of my liquid asset/investments than let it sit in an account that I can only buy from Multiply partners or put it into my HealthSaver... One must surely be able to withdraw these funds in 32 days from your OWN Multiply Money account cause you can deposit funds into it from any normal Bank Account so why not withdraw from it?

Thank you in advance.

Reviewer Update
Good day EdB

Thank you for the call yesterday. I do understand how to deposit funds into our joint Health Saver account now.

Nobody has gotten back to me regarding query 2 and 3 which I find worrisome. If I deposit funds additional funds to the Health Saver, I would really like to use it somehow except for medical bills or mobile payments so please can someone get back to me regarding this?

Thank you.

Regards,
David
