Frustrated unemployed mother
I have resigned from my previous employer and submitted for my Provident fund to be withdrawn. On the 24 of January I completed the online questionnaire for the payout. No consultant contacted me. A week later they requested my bank statement and a copy of my ID which I sent. Again, no consultant contacted me. I phoned head office last week requesting the status of my payout as it's almost been a month. The consultant I spoke to them informed me that because me and my husband share an account, I need to complete one of their documents confirming that the lump sum can pay out into his account. On Friday I spoke to the manager at FundsOfWork and he advised that he will contact me as soon as I send him the documents, which also didn't happen. I tried phoning back today and couldn't reach his line. I have made arrangement at my children's schools as I'm currently unemployed and I need to still get their school fees up to date. I need this money paid out on month end as this is unacceptable and had been over a month. Please could you help me.
Thank you for the opportunity to be of assistance to you. A manager will contact you shortly.
