Flat out Lying to cover their A$$es

<p>A while ago I was on Multiply as a beneficiary enjoying an 80% discount at Virgin Active. When it was suggested by a momentum broker that I become the main member I said I would do that provided that my gym membership does not get affected as it had been cancelled once before by momentum on their error.<br /><br />And not I have this in writing on email - They said there is no way that my membership will be affected whatsoever. It will not get cancelled again nor will it be suspended for any amount of time. The next day it was cancelled by momentum. I now cannot rejoin with the same status of 80% discount like I had. Existing members who did not have their gym cancelled still enjoy that benefit but now due to their error if I rejoin i will need to pay R600 odd rand as I will now only recieve their 25% discount flat rate.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is unfair as it was due to their utter dishonesty that I had it cancelled in the first place. They furthermore tried to cover up their error and **** to me telling me that everyone now has ony the 25% discount.</p> <p> </p> <p>Bull. If you had not cancelled my contract which I specifically instructed you to not I would still be on the same discount.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is not the only matter in which Momentum have straght face ****. They have done so in a medical claim as well whereby they stole R7000 odd rand from me as they claimed that their Medical Professional (who can't see his a%% from his elbow) was correct over the surgeon who performed the operation!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Time for a change. I've never had many issues with Discovery perhaps...</p>
