Disgusted with Momentum's brokers and there service on a hole

I have requested to cancel my insurance today and was meet with you are liable for this month payment. I am going through a difficult time and my wife has lost her job, my broker did not even ask why or what my circumstance is for cancelling, she just replayed. I need an email and you are liable for payment at end of this month. So from this i gather that Momentum is a money making **** and all the are worried about is the bottom line making money. I have cancelled life insurance before and have never been ask to make payment for that month because they knew the only reason why on cancels is that you are in financial crises or they would ask why to understand not momentum brokers. I have paid over R300 a month for over a 2 years which equates to over R8000 rand which i will never see again and they have a never to ask me for a last payment to cancel. So if i make the last payment this month and die thereafter this same insurer will turn around and say we can not pay you out because you cancelled. I am disgusted with momentums broker service
