Disappointment on my late father's retirements funds

Hi I have a problem with momentum about my late father's death claim, my father died more than 10years ago and they just contacted us asking for documents and we've uploaded it and they came with a decision saying they will only pay our step mom but it's amusing that I have never received anything from my father's estate and they still working in hand with the step mom to pay halo alone i dropped out from school because I had financial problems tense they saying I don't deserve to get a sent from my father's retirements wherever my father is I strongly believe he wanted me to get something, Please help me with this as I'm surfaring from hunger since there's even lockdown
