Disability Claim declined for FootDrop

After six months of hell with 5 trips to theatre I ended up footdrop (paralysed from my right knee down, leg completely numb with no life in my ankle and foot. ) This is permanent!

Besides the physical pain I endured the emotional war that I am fighting is now much worse. I am now limited to what I can and CANNOT do.

If my child gets injured, I CANNOT run up to him for comfort or medical assistance! I take twice as long to get dressed. I walk with an incomfortable AFO to prevent myself from falling all the time. I have to use a crutch for balance and support as my hip and pelvis are being affected because I am limping.

I am on schedule 5 medication as I CANNOT sleep still from pain at night, due to the imbalance caused in my hips. My right leg is now a few cm's shorter.

I have not been driving my car now for 4 months! If my child is sick at school, he must remain there until I can get a lift organised!

I CANNOT drive to my office to continue working. My foot drop is right, my car is a manual car.

Everything that use to be normal is now a challenge, STILL Momentum declined my claim now TWICE. First they said I had to LOOSE my limb! Now they say, I can still walk as I can put pressure on my foot!

The person declining my claim so loose heartedly you are welcome to walk in my shoes and save your Company that money. I have been a loyal customer paying my premiums EVERY month, now that against all odds and sadness, I am now disabled, you deny me an opportunity to get my life back on trac****

SHAME ON YOU.
