Desprate in need

This is the most useless organisation I have encountered. I sent them 16 emails to call me as in this time I dont have airtime only data. Finally the rudest person Precious Makubane call me with attitude. All I want is a small portion of my money from a retirement annuity as with this lockdown I cannot work and sustain myself. This women was so rude to me. I live on my own have no kids or family to help me. I cannot get any government assistance.at all.

Can someone please help me PLEASE....

It is unfortunate that you have not had a favorable service experience and I would like to apologize for that.  The matter has been escalated to management for the necessary feedback and assistance.

Kind regards
NH

Here is a person in dire need in extraordinary times. This person is faced with almost death situations and all Momentum staff and executives can say is there is nothing they can do. Many companies have open thier hearts and helped people but NOT MOMENTUM. I have not seen or heard one good deed that they showed or have done during this pandemic COVID - 19. I am totally disgusted and appalled at the response of this organization.
PEOPLE SHOULD CONSIDER OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.

Momentum could have helped as this person is in total dire need. You say you looking after her and if she die what then. I think you looking after your own interest and not yr clients
Surely Momentum could have made some way to assist if not a pay out a loan of some kind or some assistance as this is a long term client

The insurer accepts that Ms Singh finds herself in dire straits and for that we empathize emphatically. The Retirement Annuity contract type does not make provision for cash withdrawals or loans as this is not what the contract type was designed for.

As was previously confirmed by the previous respondee, Ms Singh is not eligible for withdrawal based on age and contract type.

Our sincere apologies,

Regards

In this extraordinary circumstances we facing we never imagined. Even the UIF was not designed to give people a R350 reliefe yet there it is....
Government made concessions who is EdB to make such a decision she did not even consult with her executives.
I think this is purely a non humanitarian issue.
This women will not go the extra mile to find a way to assist Momentum needy clients.
Gone are the days of humanity, hugging and kissing and most of all helping fellow human beings.

I contacted Ms K Singh telephonically and explained to her that the contract type does not permit a loan or a withdrawal.

Ms K Singh was satisfied after the discussion.
