Correspondence ignored by Momentum Wealth
On Friday 16 July 2021 I spoke to Sheryl Naidu in the Momentum Wealth call center. I asked when my letter listing some service problems would be answered. She told me that it had been escalated to Management and that somebody would contact me. As this letter has been sent several times over the past 3 months, I feel that Momentum has had more than enough time to attend to it and respond. So when exactly may I expect a reply?

28 Aug 2021, 09:59 It is sad that after sending numerous letters to Momentum since April this year, it took a letter to Hello Peter to finally get a response from Janine Adams (Escalated Service Specialist). In her response to me, she’d CC’d four other people; Michele Coetsee, Naresh Singh, Felicity Botha, and; Monni Mamabolo. All of whom, I assume, are in some way connected to my queries. Naturally, I have responded to Ms. Adams letter and included them in my correspondence. Unfortunately, Ms. Adams started her communication with a massive piece of misinformation which clearly shows that she did not investigate my questions correctly. This makes the rest of her responses dubious at best. She points out that sending me a survey to complete to assess the service I received from somebody I had never had any dealings with was a mistake. I accept this as we all make mistakes. However, yesterday I received yet another survey requesting the same thing for yet another person with whom I’ve had no dealings. Of course, I eagerly await the survey to assess the service provided by Ms. Adams. Or will it be for yet another person with whom I have had no dealings? She also neatly evades the question of who has been receiving the Ongoing Advisor Fee since November 2017 by saying that it has been referred to another department. Fine, I can live with that but some indication of how long they would need to resolve the issue and who the person responsible for resolving the problem is, would be helpful. I realise that my total investment is probably less than the monthly salary of the CEO, but I wish to remind Momentum that for all the years I had these policies, I honoured my side by paying timeously and in full. So now that I’m retired and dependant on my investments to survive, I feel it is only right that Momentum honours their side of the arrangement by providing a professional and truthful service!
