Continuous Poor Service & Lack Of Respect For Clients

Last week I logged a complaint about the poor service that Momentum renders to clients and on my complaint, I mentioned that they will never call back after promising to, so guess what, Jolene Otel still has not called back and refuses to take my calls. Momentum REFUSES to pay out my provident fund with no reason whatsoever. They requested for signed and certified documents, my banking details and my tax number, guess what, when you call, they tell you that they still need to investigate. So while they are playing all these delaying tactics, my money is sitting in their account giving them interest. Every time I call, a new person will answer and refuse to transfer me to people who I have dealt with before, there is always the same story, they are in training. This morning I was told that one of the managers is in the kitchen so I must leave my details and they will call me back, that is the type of service that Momentum renders to it's clients.

The Manager of the area will call you.

Jolen is not in our Service area, and she assisted you on the phone on Thursday and escalated this to the Manger Alice who called you. Our Senior Administrator called you on Friday and advised you of the process going forward.
I do agree that our staff should not have stated a manager is in the kitchen and for this I apologise.

Reviewer Update
I received a call last week on Friday, correct, but I was not advised of a process going forward. The lady asked me which account the money should go to because you have 2 banking details and I explained to her that it needs to go into the account you received on the 14th of August from my previous employer. You have those details because after they were sent, one of your administrators requested my tax number.

Lorraine Phosa sent an email to my previous employer asking for my banking details and tax number, my previous employer sent them, then on the 15th of August Kabelo Mo***eng asked for my tax number which was sent by my previous employer on the same day.

My questions is, why is Momentum not paying out the money because you have all the forms you need? Why am I being taken from pillar to post when everything you need is there and no one has an answer for me, I just get told that someone will call me back and no one does. The same lady, Obakeng, who said one of your managers was too busy in the kitchen to help a client said she will take ownership of this matter, investigate, call my previous employer to confirm the details I gave her over the phone, close this matter and call me back, that was 3 hours ago, how does 1 call take 3 hours?

Momentum has no reason to hold my money and I am taking this matter to the Pension Funds Adjudicator within the next hour if I don't get my money. I will follow all legal routes until all my money is paid and surely this will also be a lesson to people who trust Momentum with their money to find alternatives otherwise they will have the same struggle or worse before they can get money that they worked for.
