Can I get an answer please!!!

My previous employer has submitted my withdrawal form in August for my provident fund payment. My employer stated that payment will be paid out in 6-8 weeks. Today marks 8 weeks so I decided to call momentum to find out what the hold up is. A lady on the line advised that there was a problem with my tax number of which I verified it over the phone with her. I asked her how long it would take and she advised that it would take another 26 working days. I told her that I cannot wait that long as I have already been waiting for two months now as agreed. The lady advised that she will escalate it to a relevant department that would speed up the process. But then how do I know this is true because if I didn't follow up with them I was still going to be waiting and hoping that my payment will be paid out.

I have forwarded this to the fund manager to investigate and provide you with feedback.

Kind regards

Its been two days now and no "fund manager" or anyone has provided me with any feedback!!! I haven't received any call or sms from you guys atleast.. I mean is it so hard to go through my claim, see what's going on and just take 5 minutes of your time to actually contact me to update me on what's going on. All the necessary documents were provided to ensure that this be a smooth process, but with the way you dealing with this it's like my claim had half of the documents missing!!! Once again can I get an answer please!!! Whether in a form of a call, sms, email or anything!!! I need an update.

Dear Mr. Sefatsa,

Our Employee benefits team has provided feedback that Susan Phango from their call center has made contact with you this morning to discuss the progress of the payment.

I hope that Ms. Phango has provided you with sufficient information in the meantime, to manage expectations.

Regards,

ND
