5 Months Old Query

<p>This is the email that I have just sent today due to the terrible service:</p> <p>"After speaking to your manager, I went from been lenient to been extremely irate! I am not asking for an arm and a leg, I’m simply asking for what is due to me. Your manager is irrational, and has no sense of customer relations. I am appalled that he is what you call a manager and that is the standard of customer service that Momentum upholds.</p> <p> </p> <p>I demand the full refund of R##### which is due to me! Momentum has not contributed a cent to this amount, hence has NO right over this money nor the interest.<br />It’s been 5 months since this query was brought to my attention and has not been resolved.<br />It’s been 2 working days later since I have spoken to Abubaker “your manager”, and NO FEEDBACK. To which he promised to send me the call recording and necessary details to escalate this matter as he refuses to refund my interest <br />As per my telephonic conversation with Abubaker on Friday morning, he basically confirmed on the call that I cannot get the interest accumulated at Momentum as this money would be used to offset the amount due to me by Old Mutual as Momentum has to pay the R###, he made this clear to me by asking me numerous of times “where do you think the R### is coming from?” and “I cannot get both interests” says who? and why? Like I said this is not Momentum’s money, it was my money invested - Momentum had not contributed a cent to this, hence has no right to it!<br />Momentum/Abubaker CAN NOT and WILL NOT settle Momentums bills with my interest (since when does a client pay the company’s bills)<br />The arrogance of Abubaker “your manager” giving to me option of choosing the interest due to me. <br />This is NOT my error – should the fee been transferred from the get go I would of accumulated an interest amount to date of R ###, which you have been liaising with Old Mutual (which Momentum took their time, 5 months, to get this figure in order to refund me). Since it has not been transferred and this money R###was sitting in Momentum’s bank account it has accumulated interest of ###. PLEASE explain what part of this money has Momentum contributed in order to claim it???<br />You have tried to assist me with this, however your manager has no sense of understanding or consideration let alone customer service. I suggest, No, I demand you escalate this matter further to Abubaker’s Manager/the person he reports to or someone who has the capacity to conclude this matter to my satisfaction.</p> <p> </p> <p>This amount might not be substantial to Momentum however it’s a lot to me"</p>

Dear Sue

Thank you for the call. All that was done, was you saying that I am not due the Interest plus growth as per Who? This is NOT MY ERROR - it’s a MOMENTUM'S ERROR. The bottom line is that the funds were not transferred and because of that my funds were laying in Momentum's bank account gaining interest over the 3 and half years !

Firstly lets clear that Momentum has not contributed a cent to my investment - so why do you feel that Momentum has the right to the interest gained to offset Momentums bill because the transfer wasn’t done. Like you said this is Momentum’s error.

As for the growth that "would of" accumulated at Old Mutual is definitely due to me, there no questioning that!

Momentum is finding excuses to benefit them. Finding reasons to motivate that fact that you refusing to give back my interest plus growth .

Momentum is trying to take ownership by refunding me my growth funds and actual amount invested but using my interest gained with my funds which was in Momentums account to offset that amount to benefit them or cause them a lower loss. That is **********!

The growth I would of gained from Old Mutual is due to me, and so is the interest, this was my money invested and never transferred, My money in Momentum's bank account gaining interest!!!!

The only way to fix this would to give me my full refund - that’s actually due to me - I’m not asking for more than that.

Regards Danisha
