45 days to get my money back and no response to emails!!!

I deposited my savings into the Multiply Money account, which is advertised as a convenient way to save that gives you easy access to your funds.

Upon realising that I would have no means of accessing my funds other than buy shopping online or swiping for purchases (which I don't believe is what people put money away for), I have subsequently decided to close my account as the only means by which I can access my funds, which I now need.

Now I'm being told I will only receive my money in 45 days!

This account was never advertised as some sort of call account where you have to give a certain amount of notice in order to receive your funds, nor does it say anywhere in the Ts and Cs that you need to give a month and a half notice to get your money back.

I have tried several times to email and ask if there's a way the process could be expidited as I need my money sooner than that, and was never made aware that getting my money back would take over a month.

But, up until now, my emails have simy been ignored!

Up until now I've only had good things to say about their products, but this has taught me something, and I'll be steering clear from here on, as well as spreading the word of caution.

I cannot, for the life of me, remember closing any savings account where I didn't receive my money immediately.
