Worst insurance company that doesn’t take responsibility for their system mistakes.

The worst company to insure with, their system changed the description of my car in 2016. In 2014 Jan I called them to cancel my policy cause I had been paying too much. The consultant that was trying to retain me reads out the description and I immediately tell him that’s not my car. They changed the description back to the correct vehicle and my premium drops by 50%.

Logic will tell you that clearly I have been paying more than I should be paying. Their management team is the worst, worse than the consultant. They promise to call and never call, they promise to email and don’t and you have to keep reminding them to respond to you mails. The acting GM mailed me about 3 weeks ago, I responded to her and guess what she still has not responded to my email.

First Team leader tells me they don’t owe me anything cause I was not over paying for the past 8 years, second team leader just as bad first tells me they don’t owe me then when I ask for a premium breakdown for all the years they respond by telling me they have good news for me. They actually owe me R35 cause my premium increased by R35 when the description changed in 2016. They still can’t explain why I had a drop of 50% when the vehicle description was changed back to the correct vehicle. The GM can’t answer that either.

When the description was corrected it dropped my premium by 50%. Get an actuary to check exactly how much you owe me cause clearly there is no basic understanding of insurance in your call management team.
