Windshield replacement, wasting money

I personally phoned BMW who confirmed I can install any new windshield as long as it is SABS approved.<br> <br> Alexander Forbes BMW insurance insists in only installing original agent glass.<br> <br> This is utterly WASTEFUL and unnecessary. The price difference between Agent Glass and Shatterproof alternative glass is R6000.<br> <br> You guys need to get with this times. We are not talking about replacing engines or gearboxes here, but simple glass. This does not affect my BMW warrentee or maintenance plan.
