Why must fight before we get what we pay for?

I submitted my windscreen claim Monday morning before 8AM and was told that the chip will be fixed but the and of business. One day later and no word, windscreen still not repaired. It’s raining and I had to make alternative transport arrangements, become I don’t want to cause further damage to the windscreen given the current weather conditions.
