Why Didn't You Die In The Accident?

I was involved in a car accident whilst driving my father's car on the 29th Jan 2017 where a truck lost control and crashed into me in my lane. Momentum sent through an investigator by the name of Ray. He was nice enough to offer me soft drink on Momentum's bill, only to be invasive by the type of interview questions he was asking. He literally wanted to know why I was driving the car. I'm not sure why Momentum offers comprehensive cover with an open driver plan in the first place. I was asked why I drove my dad's car if I have my own cars. Fast foward 10 days later I asked Ray for feedback on the claim and he alleges he can't get hold of the truck driver. I personally called the truck driver and sent the driver's number to Ray. The following day Ray calls me telling me we have a problem. He says the problem is I didn't wait at the accident scene to ascertain the extent of the damage on the property and to protect the insured property. I told him straight that will never value any property above my life. I left the scene because a truck has just collided with car I was driving, was not even sure I was alive or fine. My friend picked me up along the road and took me to hospital to get checked whilst my cousin attended to the accident scene. My cousin spoke to the police at the scene and they said I don't have to come to the police station immediately I can come anytime when I am fine during the day. Momentum has given feedback on the claim and the verdict is that the claim was rejected based on that I left the scene of the accident and I was not injure. How appalling is that? I guess Momentum's next reply will be "Why didn't you die in the accident?" as that would have been the only thing that would have made me stay at an accident scene in the middle of nowhere, after a truck almost ****ed me in my lane. I guess Momentum is more concerned about property than lives of people.
