Waiting for my excess refund claim to be lodged
I have had to call and email Lerato repeatedly, often with no response to emails. I have been asking when my excess claim will be lodged with the legal department since December 2014.

First I was told I needed to send a copy of my driver's licence, which I did. When I sent that I asked if anything else was needed. No reply.

Last week I call and ask what is happening with my claim. This is greeted with surprise and a query of when I received my car back? (I have been driving it since it was repaired on 23 December 2014, which is the point of insurance one would think).

I am then informed the panel beaters didn't send the invoice. At this point I volunteer to phone them and ask them to send the invoice. I do so and find out that they sent the invoice in December 2014.

I hate it when people lie to me, I hate it even more when I'm paying for a service I'm not receiving. I think I've been traumatised enough, seeing as my car was damaged when it was stationary and parked properly in a parking bay - through no fault of my own.

When am I going to receive my R3 250 refund? I'm tired of dealing with this incompetence.
