Very confused customer.

On the 4th of May I receive a call fro the lady called Yovani informing me that my insurance will be cancelled at the end of the month. When I wanted to know the reason for the cancellation, I'm told I have many claims, according to her I have 4 claims within a year. When I took my policy I insured 2 cars. One car was involved in an accident in December 2014 and I was bumped at the back which clearly wasn't my fault. Momentum have been investigating/communicating with the other driver's insurance and I was told that once the investigation is done and I'm cleared that I wasn't at fault, I'll get my Excess back. Even today I didn't get any feedback for that investigation; fine that's fair enough since I don't know how long does the legal process or investigation take.

My other car was then involved in the accident in June 2015 and again was a bump at the back which also wasn't my fault.

That means on my 2 insured vehicles, each has ONLY one claim against it. Now when the lady called me she said I have 4 claims which she failed to explain to me until she tranferred me to the claims department to get clarity on those alleged 4 claims. The claims dept confirmed only 2 claims and I was then transferred back to the lady who called me and she still didn't have facts of what she was talking about except that she got a mandate from Acturial team that my policy must be cancelled. We agreed that since she was just a messanger with no fact and full info, she must go back and tell whoever recommended the cancellation that I demand the facts on how did they arrive to "many claims within a year". Today on the 12th, I still don't have any feedback on whether I should s**** shopping for another insurance somewhere or what? If my policy is cancelled and on the claims that are really not my faults (still under investigations), what does that say about my reputation on other insurance? I later after your investigation you find that I'm clear and even get my Excess back, are you going to clear my bad reputation on other insurances? If having 1 claim on each of the 2 vehicles is deemed "many claims", why didn't you inform me when I was talking the insurance that I'm not allowed to make a claim because one claim will be considered "many claims"? I'm very much confused and disturbed by this and it'll help if you can come to my aid.

Kwena Ramoroka
