Third party car not fixed after six months

Greetings

On the 27 May 2016 my husband was involved in an accident with a guys by the name of Ian Macdonald, since Ian was the one who was wrong he admitted an promised to take full accountability of what happened. Accident case was opened and the accident case number is AR457/05/2016, Ian said he will communicate everything with his insurance company Alexander Forbes Insurance.

After 2 months without hearing anything from Alexander Forbes Insurance my husband contacted Ian telling him that it's been 2 months without anything from Alexander Forbes then Ian said his car is already in for repairs and he did report both of the cars. Ian then contacted a lady who is a Claims Consultant by the name of Zandre Crous on the 18 August 2016, Zandre responded on the 19 August saying she will find out from legal department, already this time Ian's car was already finished with repairs. On the 22 August 2016, Zandre Crous sent my husband a third party template to fill in. My husband told Zandre that she has to use the same details Ian used as he was responsible for the accident. Why should he be filling case number again when he has already done by Ian their client whom they fixed his car almost 3 months ago, they want duplication of information so that if it does not match then they write the whole claim off. They are looking for the slightest inconsistency in our paper work, but what we as people who have been wronged by their client now we are being punished for not being their clients.

Ian said to me in July, he found it strange that his car was booked in and not mine, when he had indicated that there was a second car involved in the accident. It's been almost six since this accident happened and Alexander Forbes Insurance is not interested in fixing our car plus even if we do claim this from our insurance it is still clear that they won't pay us. Could you please assist us with this problem.

Best regards

Miliswa

Greetings

After I logged a complaint on the 14 November 2016, Elsmarie Beukes, Manager: Customer Care responded requesting the policy number, claim number, or the Policy Holder’s ID number in order for her to assist me urgently. I forwarded the email to my husband then he responded to Elsmarie on the 16 November asking if Elsmarie wants his details or rather those of their client (Ian Macdonald)? She responded saying she wants their client's information from us. My husband sent her the thread of emails between him, Ian Macdonald and Zandre Crous.
What we don't understand why didn't Elsmarie contact Zandre Crous since she had some communication with their client (Ian Crous) why is Elsmarie asking us to provide her with their client's information. Until now she hasn't come back to us and it's been more than 3 working days.

Best regards

Miliswa
