Theft of Personal Documents

Lets start at the beginning, I Took a insurance policy with Alexander Forbes to start the 1st Feb 2015. Prior to AF I was insured with Discovery Insure. The whole process seemed as though it was so fast and effective not to mention a cheaper price. Well this was soon over when I found out that the policy was incorrectly issued. The Consultant left AF, at the end of Feb when I queried my schedule i spoke with a Chantel Becker, I must say goes the extra mile and knows customer service. She went through my policy to find so many faults and ultimately false information. Luckily Chantel picked up all these errors and fixed them before they became detrimental to me the client of a Envoy Policy. I ensured that Mariska had all the information, previous claims, insurance history to which she told me she had confirmed previous insurance and placed such on file. Now i was the victim of a unfortunate snatch and Grab, and there nothing on file, Nothing not even my i.d book or signed quote, now I get penalized with extra excesses? I have quite a substantial policy, i feel like seeking an alternative insurer.
