THE UNDERDOG

They say you dont have the right to claim that an insurer is good until "You've had a claim with them".I am here today to officially announce how good MomentumSTI has been great to me as i had a claim with them in February 2020 and it was no just a small claim but a big claim that required mechanical repairs. To think some of my friends had advised me not go with Momentum because they are more of a "Medical Aid company" than a short term insurer and i decided to go against all those voices as i had already had my household contents insured with them .according to my friends/peers they were saying i was taking a gamble with Momentum and to strengthen their argument was that Momentum doesnt even have adverts about their product and benefits but that was my problem with Insurers with big adverts,their consultants are very arrogant because they do not want to understand you as a client but use a general underwriting approach with clients and i for one would like to first give you my details and then ask questions as you explain the cover to me but i never had that those insurers and my concerns were disregarded as i would be told " this is how we do it for other client" but Momentum brought a different ball game as i remember the time i wanted to get a quote and i was speaking to a lady whom i forgot her name but half way through the call my battery died and the lady attempted calling me until my phone switched back on.some might see it as desperation but i saw high level customer service because her calling me back meant that i dont have to start all over again with another agents.what i enjoyed the most about the call i thibk the lady was Xhosa and she would throw in some of words in my native language(Xitsonga).The calldid not feel like a sales pitch rather a friendly conversation with a financial advisor i was happy with the overall call and i wish i could just talk to her again just to say "Thank you for helping me making the right decision and representing Momentum so well".

Someone would ask why i write a review now but like i said i had a big claim and Momentum took my vehicle to "cream of the crop" panel beaters in Johannesburg and i very skeptical about the repairs as alot of stuff were replaced on the vehicle, So i wanted to take my car for service at the dealer to see if there were any discrepancies picked up when service was being done on the vehicle and they told told me that they saw that some parts on the vehicle were replaced and they were actually impressed with the workmanship on the vehicle it was like the repairs were done at the Factory.So again i would like to commend the services i received from Busisiwe Zulu my claim administrator who held my hand from the claim date till the day i got my car back dealing with wasn't as horrific as the other stories i heard about claim administrators .Soi wanted sent a big shout out to her may extend the same gesture to other clients.IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND YOU ARE IN DOUBT THEN TAKE IT FROM AND TAKE THE JUMP,IT WILL BE A PLEASENT EXPERIENCE FOR YOU.I PROMISE YOU!!!!PERSONALLY I AM GOOD WITH MOMENTUM AND ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ME FROM THEM MUST BRING A BULLDOZER.
