Serve to Profit rather than profiting from Serving
My vehicle was hit by momentum's client,I claimed 3rd party for damages,Momentum sent out their assessor, the assessor reported R66 000 damages to my vehicle,Sheryl,at Momentum claimed I could have avoided the accident, therefore Momentum would not pay me,even though I was hit and not the other way round,I was told I was the liability and without further ado,my claim file was closed. There was no compassion,no passion to truly serve(help)just the need to dismiss me as quick as possible. The service was extremely poor, attitude of the lady who handled my claim was highhanded and brusque. All emails received from Momentum stated, "WITHOUT PREJUDICE",but the manner in which my claim was handled, showed me otherwise. The core value of any company is to serve..that should be of the utmost importance,be it its employees, internal or external customers.A company that shines realises that serving others is the life of the company, and that profit, like oxygen, sustains the company and allows it to continue serving.Consequently,Momentum, serves to PROFIT,rather than profiting from SERVING.They serve the customer strictly to sell.True service goes beyond that,it is the motivation to wholly help others,by going the extra mile, beyond the call of duty, and in doing so can positively impact their organisation and grow continuously.Sadly, most companies prioritise: profit before people, thus losing is value to thrive. This accident didn't only cause irrepairable damage to my vehicle, while the vehicle that hit my car, came out with a few dents n scratches, but I almost lost my only son in this accident, costing me high medical expenses. All of this I had relayed to Momentum, only to be told,I could have avoided the accident and on that ruling,I was not being reimbursed.Again,it's evident, profit before people
