I insured my wife's wedding ring for circa 80k which was backed by the evaluation certificate which was requested at sign up. My wife recently misplaced her the ring and I logged a claim. To my surprise Momentum I sure advised me that their supplier will make the exact same ring for circa 47K. Now my premium that I was paying for circa 3 years was based on the circa 80K. My point is why were I being charged a premium on circa 80K when clearly I wasn't covered for that amount. So that means Momentum Insure was over charging me monthly. The managers response is that we don't cover the value however cover the item, huh does that not make it the samething because the item is based on the value and so does my premium! If you are insured with Momentum Insure I suggest you call them asap and find out what are you exactly covered for if you need to claim. To me they just want your money and don't have your best interest. The manager advised that they are putting me in the same position I was before the item was misplaced, how does that make any sense because if I go and insure the ring again it will be insured at 47K which means the rings value depreciated in value. They promise to call you back and give you feedback however they do not, you have to keep calling them. The manager is not helpful and says that is our final payout and they will not do anymore. Now we know that they are getting a discount from the service provider however is that at the cost of their customers. I urge you all to call them asap and query your policies and you will be shocked to find out our this company operates and the calibre of management they employ.
