Ridiculous Excess Amount

<p>I had an accident and submitted a claim with Alexander Forbes as they are my insurance. I submitted a claim of R14000 and they want me to pay R8000 in Excess. I have never had of something like this. Everytime when I talk to Nombuso Khumalo from the Claims department she tends to get annoyed by my calls. Really if I could have R8000 at my disposal all the time would I really need to insure myself. I am upset obviously because according to me this is just another way of not wanting to pay the claim. I thought Companies like Alexander Forbes wuold really have a good reputation hence i chose them over any other company. </p>
