Rejection of Claim

Wow, my very first claim with Alexander Forbes and it was declined. my question is, is it because of the amount we claiming for? definitley possible. All they can say is the kitchen window has no burglar guard. THIS WAS NOT THE POINT OF ENTRY AS MENTIONED ON NUMEROUS CALLS. if it was i would gladly accept the rejection. As mentioned the point of entry was THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR which has a burglar gate as well as a security lock which was broken is clearly ignored by Alexander Forbes. What annoys me is that this is the only reason they can give is the kitchen window. Not once has anyone from Alexander Forbes acknowledged that the front door was wwhere point of entry took place, but rather where it wasnt, the kitchen window.Really!! Can someone atelast acknowledge that entry was gained through my front door with forced entry or is that by the way???I have escalated to Ombudsman as I am not leaving this issue that easily. For a reputible company such as this, i will pursue this as far as possible. I have the time and resources. i havent been in the office since last week but once I am back at work on wednesday, this will receive my full attention.
