Quote given, no follow up

I was contacted yesterday with a quote for my motor and household contents. I agreed to the quote and was told to expect an email with all the necessary documents and to which I could forward a statement of my claims history from my previous insurers. I have received no such email. Your call centre knows nothing either. I cannot be picked up on the system and I was transferred from branch to branch. I don't even know if you people are debiting my account on the 25th or if I must cancel my existing insurance. This is pathetic. I want an answer because I am NOT going to pay for two insurance policies when I asked for very specific feedback and what was supposed to be sent to me was not done. Kindly get back to me urgently.
