No feedback

The below was posted on the 27/10/2016 and after this was received by Aforbes, my partner was called by the people handling the claim on the very same day and he was advised that the refund would be done and he would have the money in 2weeks, we are on the third week now and whenever he follows up regarding the refund, he is advised that the manager who is supposed to sign it off is not in or his calls and emails regarding the refund are ignored. I don't know if this issue must be escalated to the obudsman for short term insurance before this is resolved or what else we have to do.

we were involved in accident on the 20/10/2016 and we are still stirring without a courtesy car!!! The staff that processes new insurance policies and debit order amounts had made a mistake last month on my partners policy and debited him 3x his premium and obviously, there was no provision for that and the funds were reversed. When the insurance had to process the claim (which they have not done as yet!) he was advised that there was an error in the back office and in order for them o process the claim, he had to pay an amount of R7900,00 and an extra R1200 for car hire and please bare in mind that all of that excludes the access! Why must one even have insurance if we are going to end up paying this much!!! Where are we expected to suddenly get close to R10 000.00, which we were Advised would be to rectify an error that was made internally???? Why must a client even be liable for that??? The service we have been receiving from Forbes has just been disgusting, even worse considering that he is staff! I can only imagine what normal clients have to go through!!! It's called insurance for a reason! Bae get insurance because we know that we might not have money lying around to make huge payments and not to get ourselves deeper into debts!!! With all that money paid, Lord knows where the petrol money to fill the very same "curtesy" car (which he is supposed to pay a deposit for) is gonna come from!!! This has just been more traumatic and more stressful than the accident itself!!! I would never allow anyone I work with, in my family or better yet anyone I know take insurance with Forbes!!! The service has just been appalling!!!! How on earth are we expected to get through the month!!! We were advised that the mistake made by the staff had to be sorted by us!!! How does that even work?????
