My preferred method of communication is email, not phone calls when I am at work

I have recently moved my policy from Outsurance to Momentum, because Outsurance have no other way of contact than phone. I cannot chat to them for 10 - 30 minutes, while I am working, just to make simple updates to my policy.

Now Momentum is trying to do exactly the same. I specifically moved to Momentum, because I prefer to do personal changes and updates in my personal time. So, I wrote Momentum an email last night with updates I wanted to make to my policy, and now they want to call me to confirm it.

They have a best of breed workflow system that keeps track of all emails, sms's, webforms etc. They know that the ECT Act says that if you can verify a customer (even if over e-mail), then you can make updates to the policy, but, now they are completely disregarding my preferred method of communication, and they, like Outsurance, wants to talk to me during my business hours.

I made my request very clear in an email, I have no need to repeat it over e-mail.

Please send my contract to me, so that I can use it to get alternative quotes from other insurers, who are willing to respect my preferred method of communication
