Momentum insurance cannot be trusted to do the right thing.

My husband owned a Hyundai Tucson, registration no NU3486. He passed on on 24 October 2017. In November of that year I insured the car with Momentum. Policy R/2018/MT***4. The car was at Auto Care Clinic for repairs. In February 2018 I realised I couldn't contact them. This was very strange as Cassim Dawood, the owner , had been working on our cars for 35 years. Auto Care clinic was situated at 1249 Umgeni Road. Durban. But now they had moved without notice. I went to Durban Central Police station to ask if they could help me track down the place. When I went back to the police, I realised they had reported the car ****** in March 2018 without my knowledge. I contacted Momentum to report the car ******. Momentum wanted the car transferred to my name. I requested the document from Wesbank on 7 November 2018. They said it would take about 7 days to have it delivered and I paid R465,00 for the courier service. the document was only delivered to me at the end of Jan 2019. Momentum refused to pay out for the ****** vehicle. Vanessa was the agent who consulted with Momentum. On 16 July 2019 Momentum said they wanted to do the payout, but they needed a document from the police proving that the car was ******. Isipingo Pound emailed the document to them and copied me in on that email. Case nr Durban Central 720/2/2018. The contact person at Momentum was Hugo du Preez and the claim no is CP121702. the car was ****** from Auto Care Clinic at 1249 Umgeni Road I have since sent numerous emails to find out what is going on with this case, but all my emails have been ignored. I had faithfully paid the insurance, so I don't understand why Momentum refuses to pay me out for the car. I have given them all the information they requested, and have waited for over a year since I last heard anything from them. I would like to be paid out for this vehicle and put this matter to rest.
