Momentum Delays Claims

I feel so let down by you guys! Don't advertise about safety and how you there for us where you actually just take your time!

Last weekend our house was broken into. Monday we submitted the claim. By Tuesday I had everything over to your claims, quotes, proof of items, alarm report, police report. I kept following up as we need our items replaced and slowly we have had to purchase items and borrow money as there are things that are ****** that we need asap!

Monday I followed up again and was told a claim like this takes time. Yesterday I heard it was being vetted.

NOW TODAY, i get an email that you need our NCB from previous insurer. Also got told if it is requested from your side it could take days and be delayed more. Now I am running around trying to get this!

WHY was this not done from the start! How do you leave it until the end of the claim and want to delay it even more! I also don’t understand as I have claimed from you before and now you decide to wake up? Are you looking for reasons to try not settle?

I now have to run around obtaining this so I can actually try get this claim finalised!

Very sad way of dealing with things!

PS: I would give a rating of 1, however I went 2 as our broker is amazing and trying to get this all sorted, it is just Momentum that seems to be backwards! No wonder there are so many complaints on the claims side!

Thank you Momentum for sorting this out. Unfortunately it took a complaint to push things but none the less, it’s finalised. Thank you.
