MOMENTUM CLAIMS LAIRS AND FALSE REPORTS.

So here is my story. So while closing our garage door. The door got stuck and was in a tilt. I checked and saw that it had come of the track in the back. So my wife calls our insurance company MOMENTUM and asked them if this is cover under our policy she speaks to Victoria. So they send eagle automation to check this out. So i receive a call from Jacques and he come to check the door. NOW THIS GETS INTERESTING.

So we have a conversation and he says that the springs have collapsed and this is not covered by our insurance. BUT his company can sort it out for R1250 my wife was here at the time as well. So i am building on my property and i told him that i have materials in there and need it to closed. My wife tells him our excess is R1000 so been that its not covered he must fix it and his response was that the lady at the office will send us a quote to fix it on Monday 13th July as per the urgency. At no giving time had i told him that something fell on the door our my builders damaged the door. So Victoria calls me and i ask her whats happening with this claim and told her what conversation i had with eagle automation's Jacques. So she tells me she will call them and get back to me because i told her that what was in the report was false and lies(Here my conversation on the recorded line) . So a almost a week is gone and nothing. On Monday evening i get a call from a claims consultant and he says that he is now handling this clam. So he goes on to tell me that the door is not covered under the perils of the insurance and he also went for a second opinion (to his manager). So i asked him how can he go fro a second opinion when he does not have all the facts or even listened to the previous calls to understand what was happening. So his response was that he has all the facts from the report and that this is not covered but is covered under accidental damage and other perils. So my question to him is how can he have all the facts when he has not called me to clarify what happened(PLEASE LISTEN TO THE CALL). Now i have canceled my policy with MOMENTUM as of 31 July 2020. So in the report it talks about something falling on the door and because of the building it needs to be reset and the cost us R2500 and its (wear and tear) that is not stated on the report. He say according to him and his manger its wear and tear. So how is this correct because i believe this to be unfair business practice and has not given me fair treatment and with the incorrect lies stated on the report. I could have **** and said accidental damage or something and this is what the company does to us clients they treat us unfairly. So i have asked him to please go listen to the call with his manger and call me back tomorrow to sort this out. I am also going to put this on social media and warn clients that this is the lies and reports that are incorrectly used that wants to ***** from the clients of MOMENTUM. If you have a good standing with then i wish you well if not think about another insure. Like i told the consultant i do not need my money that i have been paying for over 2 years back to fix my door i will do it. Your company and the assessor not all are lairs and cheats. JUST SAY THAT YOU'LL CANT PAY THE CLAIM BECAUSE THE POLICY HAS BEEN CANCELED FROM END JULY 2020.

Thanks MOMENTUM for you awful service and claims process. You will stay no 1.
