Momentum assit contractors a *******

I am so angry and upset at the way momentum handled my home assist emergency.

I have car insurance with you and needed a home assist. I needes the geyser element replaced and specified all these details to the agent including the element needed.

They send me a contractor who does not even carry spares. I waited about an hour or so for this person who could do nothing. I get a call a few minutes later from the contractor stating they will come back and fix it and will charge me R950. That is a rip of.. I know the price of the element and replaced it many times. I also know that contractors assigned by insurance companies are not allowed to ******* clients on the parts they replace! I said to the insurance company that this is what happened and they said they cannot resign someone and that i am disputing the contractor they sent to help so they will charge me now if they send another.

Hello! Your contractor is trying to rip me off! I checked the parts at tge store and it is R450. And in all the times iv replace the items, it never costed more than this. Given the price is gone up this year.. Outsurances plumber charged me R650. The lack of empathy and assistance from momentum was deplorable. I WILL be taking my business else where.
