Momentum and all their offerings MUST be avoided at all costs.

MoMentum as a whole is a massive problem - completely lacks on all ends be it Myriad, Short term Insurance or even their cancellations departments. Lack of Service, lack of feedback, lack of communication and a lack on their promises made.

Having a vehicle covered with them and unfortunately having to go through the Claims Process it is 6 months later and my Car is not repaired. After the Accident it was an endless hassle to Actually find out where the car is and if anything in the line of assessment was done on the vehicle. After repeated calls to them, theYard and said repairer where the vehicle was sent to it took just over a week for me to find out where the car was - Momentum kept saying it is at the Yard when the Yard says it was assessed and taken to the selected reapairer. After multiple phone calls to Momentum, Yard and "Supposed" repairer I found out from the towing company where the car was. Already Frustrated in the 1st week of claim as Momentum LOST the car....

Momentum for some reason opted to send my car to a repairer that is literally 2 hours drive from my home - as to why they selected the repairer what they did is unknown and hasn't been explained to me even though it was requested on multiple occasions.

Momentum failed to send the Repairer the Authorization for the repairs. and following up with the Repairer mutiple times and Momentum as to where the Authorization is I get told Lies constantly - the repairer insisted the Authorization was not sent and on week two complaining to Momentum they confirm it was a fault on their end that it was not sent. So now there was over 2 weeks wasted where no repairs was done.

So begining week 3 after the accident and claim process started - Speaking to the repairer they confirmed they received the Authorization and were then placed in a difficult position as there was just over a week left on my Vehicle rental and they needed to get my Car repaired before the rental expires as I can't be stranded without transpor. This left them to Rush orders (even though there is a week waiting time for parts ordered) -- this time constraint was due to the lack of Momentum not knowing where my Vehicle was, not knowing if the assessment was done or not and not sending the Authorization through to the Repairer.....

When it came to collecting my Vehicle the repairer told me I can come fetch my car on the wednesday (a day after my vehicle rental expired) so transport to a repairer that's 2 hours away from home is a hassel. Arriving there they were still busy with the Vehicle - they ran nto a number of problems and could not get the vehicle completed while I was waiting and informed the vehicle is ready for collection.... the main problem they had was the bonnet they got was a different type and they could not get it to close and stay closed -- so this reflects Badly on the repairer itself which is Bosch and Sons. They borrowed me a Bakkie for the evening and said they will contact me the next morning to bring me my vehicle and collect the bakkie - we met at a Half way point for the exchange vehicles as the repairer is to far from my home to justify the travel time.

Receiving the vehicle I was to happy to get the car back and did not check it as I should have with the repairer present - this is likely my fault, but considering the time wasted I was just happy my car was back.

That evening returning home from work there was a Taxi driving on the Wrong side of the road while the driver was playing on his phone - hitting the horn to avoid the Head on Collision - Nothing happened, Silence, there was no Horn....... I ended up Stopping completely Flashing the Oke to get his attention to not make an accident... Reaching home I opened the bonnet to check what is going on with the Horn -- checking it where I thought the Horn would be I found nothing no Horn - with this I also found that the bonnet could not stay Open, I had to keep it open with a stick to check the horn. The next morning I noticed that there was a Oil mark on my drive way where the car was standing - the next day I also noted I had to refill the Coolant/Water....

At first I thought the Horn was just a cable or a fuse, but checking it all and asking friends to help it was confirmed that there is NO longer a Horn in my Car....

Upon informing Momentum of the problems they went out of their way to deny all the problems and Made excuses left Right and center as to what may be the cause - it simple, Poor service from Momemntum caused initial proiblem and selecting a poor Repairer to do the job.....

With mutiple comunications between me and Momentum they said I should take the vehicle back to siad repairer - however I informed them the repairer is to FAR for me and takes alot of time to travel there and then back home and then to be stuck without transport is just not feasible - over the telephone they said they willget a repairer close to home, howevert every communication there after they do not come back with an alternate repairer and insist I go back to the original repairer that did the Botched Job.... 6 Months later the last Consultant denied all the previously said and insisted there is nothing wrong with my Bonnet and that it ware and tare (HOW if the entire Bonnet was replaced) they insist the horn is in the car, it is not, they not interested in repairing the oil and water leak even though all those Pipes on the front of the car was disconnected completely.

I have started to cancel my products with Momentum, but even that is posing to be frustrating.
