Insurance company

Hi Hello Peter. We as a family are physically and emotionally disappointed that the Momentum Insurance rejected my claim.

On the 29 October 2021 at around 23h00 the garden wall fence fell to the street due to strong wind that night.

I phoned Momentum and they gave me a claim number CP304655 and said they will send an assessor and the contractor to erect an emergency fence.

To our surprise the claim was rejected as the damage was caused due to the wall not being build according to building regulations and there is no insured peril that caused or contributed to the damage.

When I signed up for the cover all was well and agreed but today they mentioned something which was not highlighted before.

Please help me, I want Momentum Insurance to repair the insured garden wall fence. Stay safe and blessed. Hendrick Malemone
