I got a new insurance cover with Alexandra Forbes and submitted my paper work on Monday. I did not get a confirmation till today and i kept my current insurance active and communicated this to AF that i will not cancel until i get my confirmation and a confirmed inspection appointment (which i ended up scheduling). Today i get a letter of confirmation with a new premium slightly more and when i tell the constant but this is not the amount i signed for so can we put it on hold until i get clarity and this confirmation refers to amendments .I asked what are the amendments? and she just told me if i am not happy i must send a formal cancellation email and i called immediately but the complaints division was not available then boom the very same consultants sends an email to cancel my insurance that was only starting as of the 1st May 2019.
