Horrific treatment

<p>25th July 2016 I called my reputable trustworthy motor vehicle insurance in need of emergency assistance as I found myself in a flood situation and stranded that afternoon. I called over and over again and kept on being tranferred to different operators but received no emergency assistance. I ended up leaving my vehicle at the scene and arranged a lift much later on that evening. Until today I have never received correspondence as to why I was not assisted and have concluded I am insuring with one of the most dangerous insurance companies to even operate in SA.</p> <p>Further to this my premium increased after I claimed flood damage, which is standard procedure of course and I understood the basis. But alas to my suprise, 2 months later a new increase was in place for which I received no notification! Which ensured my premium increase in 2016 alone was approximately 43% to the prior year's premium. All these increase are before the annual increase due in Dec/Jan.</p> <p>I feel like I was sold a dream and now I am living a nightmare. I am seriously looking for better service elsewhere - I will be better off paying a high premium for better service.</p>
