Earthquake damage from 2023
On the 11th of June 2023, our house suffered damaging cracks from the earthquake. Momentum was informed and they sent out assessors. They took pictures and reported back to the insurer who approved the claim. We were then given a figure of how much it would cost and we opted to not take the cash payment. They have sent 4 assessors to the house but no repairs have started. We were told that everything will be done by December 15 2023. It is January 16 2024 and no word from them. We have found further damage that could have been avoided and I have a feeling they will not fix that damage. I am at my wits end with this company and their incompetence.

17 Jan 2024, 11:57I'm so livid. Momentum says my claim was finalized and closed. No call from them verifying "the work done" and if that claim had my signature on their invoice. They said the work not done was because of pre-existing damages. Come to think that my house was recently renovated, one wonders where these damages were and why three of their assessors did not mention them. I called them for something else and boom "The service provider was paid for the work done." Come to think that no service provider has ever been to my house. Momentum are ****mers and if you were considering insuring your home and cars just save yourself a stress and run as fast as you can from these *****sters.
