DON'T EVER insure your car with Momentum

My car is insured with Momentum insurance, I was in a car accident mid November and my car was hit on the side, driver's door and the door next to the driver's were hit and damaged. Momentum insurance just told me that my car is a write-off. I asked for a list detailing the damages that would amount to such a drastic step and they are quiet. The consultant (Jack Molala) seemed reluctant when I suggested that I be given the money and get the car fixed by someone else. It's December, a lot of places will close eventually and the courtesy car that I was given should be returned soon. They are not very helpful or informative. They just ignore you after you put in a claim. They won't even give me the car's value. I need to make an informed decision but they are keen on keeping information from me.
