Dissapointed in Momentum Service, still waiting!!!!

Good day On Monday night 28 November we had a severe storm over our house and neigbourhood. Hael, lightning and thunder. One of my sliding door class was damaged and shattered. We heard something through the storm but could not see anything from inside.

As we woke up the next morning we saw the damage. The whole sliding door glass was shattered. I phoned momentum 7h for assistance. Their emergency department told me they will arrange for Glasfit to assist urgently. Glasfit said I must then pay for all the glass, but this falls under my building insurrance and I only need to pay access of R1000. When I tolg Momentum that they say no I must once again lodge the claim to the normal Claims Department.

Remember my house is open!!! I phoned to ask when is someone coming out, they said the Wednesday because everyone is busy. Nothing happened. The Thursday someone send a SMS Digicall will send someone. 4h00 that afternoon the contractor arrived. They took measurements, paste plastic to the door and off they go. Friday 1 November, Marthinus the assessor came at 14h00. Today is the 5th of November 2023. Nothing happened so far. I send emails, phoned Momentum, the lady working with this did not phone back and apparently she is the "Manager". Digicall do not answer my calls.

I can not believe that I must sit without a door in Gauteng!!!! What if someone hurt us, or break in/ walk in while we there or not? Will they pay out another claim and take another week or two?????

I am so disappointing in Momentum. I have been with them for years, but it seems I had to go to King Price when I had the chance.
