Conditions of new policy

I have my provident fund with AF via my company. I recently moved my Car & Household insurance to AF - dealt with Tumelo Mdakane. I am in the process to move my Life Insurance from Momentum to AF - dealing with Itumeleng Serage. I requested quotes for a RA with AF and also possible Education Savings for my kids a short while ago.

My problem, I just heard about the poor service from the list of panel beaters on AF Car insurance, which I was not aware from the inception that I will be limited to the usage in an accident to your panel - I heard from one of my staff how terrible the service is from Renew IT Edenvale which not by her choice her vehicle was sent there for repairs recently. So, I enquire with Tumelo as with my previous insurer, I had the option to sign an indemnity to use like BMW Repair Centre as my car is a BMW and I prefer BMW to repair if in an accident, now, to be told, I don't have this option and no choice, basically, I have to use AF panel beaters, I am not impressed at all by this.

I want to exercise this option that I can chose where I want to repair my car and if I can’t get if from Alexander Forbes, I think you are prepared to lose all my current and future business. I also want the related Barloworld discount on my policy?

So, I will rather cancel my current Car & Household insurance which just started and move back to my previous insurers who are R100 more expensive that AF. I will cancel the Life Cover that I was going to take. I don't want the quotes for the retirement annuity and education savings anymore as well.

All I am asking is for one simple request to have the flexibility to choose where I want to repair my car at, none of all the previous insurers I have had, had a problem to do this and at the time, I didn't think it necessary to ask until I heard the storey from one of my staff who is insured with AF.

I would like a senior at AF to look into this and give me that option or the only solution is for me to move all my current business to other providers (well by employer choice my provident fund is with AF)
