Claims Process Nightmare with Alexander Forbes Car Insurance

<p>My accident happend on the 27 March, and absolutely nothing has been done.</p> <p>AFI's assigned tow truck lft me on the scene of the accident and I had to call people to help me drive the car to my house of which it's still ther.</p> <p>Autobon who is the approved repair center asked me for 50% of the excess before they even order parts while AFI says this is not the case.</p> <p>AFI never followed up on the correct amount of excess that I should be paying until I called.</p> <p>To this very day, my car has further damage on it due it's current condition because of the weather.</p> <p>I called and email just yeterday and not a single sould has bothered to get back to me.</p> <p> </p> <p>WARNING:</p> <p>- do not take out milliege cover</p> <p>- do not take out any voluntery excess</p> <p>- always ask about their shortfall cover</p> <p>- always be clear on your telephonic coversation as they are supposedly recorded</p> <p>- ask even the simplest things to cover yourself </p> <p> </p> <p>If you must take insurance with them, BE VERY Careful</p> <p> </p>
