I was involved in a three car pileup in Turfontein, Jhb and the guy that smashed into my vehicle is insured by Alexander Forbes. I have contacted Forbes and they advised that their client will have to lay a claim first in order for the process to start. Their client did open a claim and to date I have been calling Forbes and they keep telling me that the case is not with the lawyers as yet. Please advise if there are procedures in place with time frames or when the file does get to a desk, is the time that the process starts?
